Job Description:

As a Pharmacy Technician with Nursetech Health, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, ensuring the safe and accurate distribution of medications to patients in multiple healthcare facilities. Your role will involve collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide exceptional pharmaceutical services.

Key Responsibilities:

Medication Dispensing: Accurately prepare and dispense prescription medications following physician orders and facility protocols.
Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining appropriate medication inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and place supply orders as necessary.
Documentation: Maintain precise records of medication dispensing and assist in managing the pharmacy database.
Patient Support: Offer medication-related information to patients, including dosage, potential side effects, and administration instructions.
Collaboration: Work closely with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Compliance: Strictly adhere to pharmacy laws, regulations, and guidelines to maintain the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Qualifications:

Medication Certification is required.
Prior experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and precision in medication preparation.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in pharmacy software and technology.
Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel to different healthcare facilities.
